Just left ONTD. After 5 years! whoa. It was like the 2nd community I joined when I signed up for LJ way back when. I guess its good. It hasn't been the same for the past couple of years anyway. The mods think they are celebs. And now apparently certain mods are making money off of ad revenue. It just changes the dynamic. I guess this is a part of my seperation from LJ completely. There weren't many other communities I checked daily.

Just left Law_questions. It's about time anyway.

I discovered Tumblr. And I will probably be posting stuff there. Its more my speed. More random. More current. More images.
I just feel like its time for me to say goodbye to my blog. LJ just doesn't feel the same anymore. I still check certain communties, but now I barely look at my friends list. I rarely feel the urge to actually make a blog post here. I'm not going to delete my profile because I need it to post in lj communities. And maybe one day I will want to blog here again, who knows.

So I belong to Baby_Names community. It's a community that about (you guessed it ) baby names. All names, usual and unusual. So anyway, there was a post with a list of names and the kids name was Aquanets (or something like that). Another person commented that the knew an Aquanetta and it was so funny. I commented that I also knew an Aquanetta. And I know "ghetto" and/or "black names" are never seen very favorable there. So I wanted to make a point to let them know this Aquanetta I knew was a older (60ish) white woman(she was from the south). Anyway, I checked back and my post along with the Aquanets name was all deleted. Geez people are so dang sensitive.

Its been a while since I posted. Same ol same ol.
Saw SATC2 yesterday afternoon. Wasn't as bad as everyone was saying. I actually enjoyed watching it. It was better and more light hearted than the first one. I didn't like the religious or political slant.
Saw Robin Hood a while ago. I enjoyed it and didn't expect to. I thought it was miscast though.

I'm looking for a new digital camera. I've needed a new one for years. Right now I have a Kodak Easyshare something 4.0mp that I bought in 2003. It always sucked. It is my second Kodak camera. I know now to stay away from Kodak. My budget originally was 150 but after looking around I realize I probably need 250 to get the camera I want. Based on picture tests and reviews, I really am wanting the Canon SD960 elph. It seems to have the best quality for the price. Eventually I'd like to get a SLR and take a photography class.
